At Portus we are committed to raising the status quo and improving long term outcomes. In our view, building more sustainably is not just the responsible thing to do, it’s the only thing to do.
Our landmark building at 211 High Street in Christchurch is a perfect example of what can be achieved through smarter choices. Constructed from sustainably sourced mass timber, it will contain 80% less embodied carbon than a similar concrete or steel structure building. Not only is it better for the environment, it’s attractive to future tenants and next generation business leaders too.
