ANTHONY LEIGHS
Portus is managed by Anthony Leighs, a leading figure in New Zealand’s commercial property construction sector. Anthony is founder and executive director of Leighs Construction Limited, a director of Ryman Healthcare and previous chairman of the New Zealand Master Builders Association. Anthony’s vision and determination has led to the design and build of many high-quality projects in which Kiwis live, work and play.

David’s expertise is in construction, finance, manufacturing, telecommunications and retail. A qualified accountant, David has worked in the United Kingdom, the USA, Asia and New Zealand, where he is a member of the New Zealand Institute of Directors. With his background in developing businesses, David’s experience has been invaluable in contributing to Portus’ diligent financial management.

JONO SKINNER
Development delivery at Portus is facilitated by Jono Skinner. Jono has 15 years’ experience in design management, construction management and construction finance. His approach is underpinned by a pragmatic mindset established in his early days as an apprentice carpenter. Jono has specialist expertise in mass timber construction and brings a wealth of knowledge around international best practice as it applies to New Zealand conditions.
